US Civil Affairs team visited Training Centre Lest
American Civil Affairs team (Civil-Military Cooperation) accompanied by members of CIMIC/PSYOPS team of Slovak Armed Forces has been acquainted on December 3, 2015 with the capabilities of Training Center Lest in the Slovak Republic (TC Lest). After a welcome speech of the Director of the Department of Management LTC DYCHA,  the Head of International Cooperation Maj. MÁTYÁS conducted the presentation of TC Lest. The program continued with a tour in the multifunctional training facility Jakub High Rise Building Gun, where WO2 Rohon has presented all training possibilities for snipers and members of intervention units in urban areas (MOUT) using live ammunition. At the training area for maneuvering units which is a part of a multi-purpose tactical training ground "OREMLAND" the most important up-to-date training obstacles have been described that this sector has. In addition the training settlement Jakub Village and modernized Infantry shooting range were presented, which is used for training of snipers and assault teams in combat shooting.
 
At lunch, the guests expressed great admiration of development of training and other infrastructure, according to their unique training complex in almost all types of troops. At the same time they expressed interest in further cooperation.
